HELICOPTERS : THE NEW-AGE WORKHORSE

AERIAL LIFTING:
All of our pilots have
experience in many different kinds of external loading. In 2002 Solitair helped fight the Sydney fires and in 2003
the North Stradbroke Island fire in Queensland. We routinely perform
tasks such as lifting old compressors off rooftops and relocating
building materials.
Coming soon!!

Solitair Helicopters will take delivery of a new AS350 B3+ Dual Hydralics mid 2009. The B3+ has a lifting capacity of 1400kgs and has dual hydraulics for extra safety. It will also have a belly tank for fire fighting with a capacity to hold 1200ltr of water and foam.
AERIAL SURVEYING:
The single engine
EC 120 Colibri
is renowned for its flexibility, safety, good
visibility, stability and its reduced operating costs, making it a
popular choice for a wide range of utility missions. This makes it
an ideal platform for aerial surveying such as power line
and pipeline inspection.
Aerial surveying is
defined as the surveillance of ANYTHING from the air. It could be
reporting the traffic watch, counting the dugongs in Moreton Bay or
even looking for your stolen vehicle.
We routinely perform tasks
such as power line inspections, aerial site surveys and aerial
spotting.
USES:
Helicopters are
without parallel, when used to amplify advertising and promotion by
towing your corporate banners across the sky. Just think of the
impact that will have above a busy venue.
